We made the move from Toronto, Canada to Redondo Beach, California this past January which in itself is a big deal, and more so when you don't have a clue about the area you are moving to. It was with a huge sigh of relief when we met Anna Rivas who helped us to get to know the area as a local, with respect to mapping out various neighborhoods and the benefits of each. In helping us find our dream home Anna listened to all the things that were important to us and executed them all with thoroughness, efficiency, and great attention to detail. In a matter of a week, Anna found us the perfect place with all the amenities we wanted! Anna made (what could have been a stressful and daunting task), quick and painless. Anna is a sweet, caring, and very thoughtful person (she frequently sends us useful links about what is going on in the area, activities that our kids might like to try, and has been an invaluable resource with respect to best doctors/dentists/hairstylists in the area). We have learned so much about the neighborhood from her that we feel like we've been living here for years instead of two months. Professionally, Anna is a stand-out agent. She has gone above and beyond the requirements of a real estate agent. Her attention to detail is incredible (ie: when it came to fixes that had to be taken care of before taking possession of our property), she noticed things I would never have seen and communicated all to the owner to get repaired. Her effective way of communicating didn't go unnoticed when Anna also had to liaise with the owner to get certain documents in order that we were not familiar with coming from another country. I highly recommend Anna Rivas for your real estate needs, she has your back and it is apparent that she loves the work she does. Earlier this year we reached out to Anna to have her help us find and buy our house. While this was our first time purchasing a house, we had some second-hand experience from friends and family. Fortunately, Anna was incredibly helpful, organized, and thorough in educating us on the entire home buying process. She took time to understand why we wanted to buy a house, what we were looking for, and where were wanted to look. She drove us around to look at many listings to give both her and us a better idea of what we like and didn't like. When we found our house and were ready to put an offer, she gathered as much information about the seller and her motivations to craft our offer letter. She included a small gift along with the offer. The seller told us she was flipping through offers, just looking at prices, when she came across ours. She said Anna's letter (and ours) caught her attention and gave her an appreciation of why we wanted to buy her house. She also said that the small gift was a very thoughtful gesture and went above and beyond the other offers she received. After she accepted our offer, Anna walked us through the escrow process and was with us the entire way, even celebrating with us on the day we got our keys. The best summary I can say for Anna is what our seller's agent told our seller: she said that if she was half as good as Anna, she'd be doing a lot better. She prepares well, she knows what she's doing, she offers her honest opinions when requested, and she's a lot of fun to work with. We're definitely going to work with her again when we're ready to look for another house!

Anna is everything you would want in an agent. She is very involved in the South Bay community, so she has an extensive network and truly knows the area. She is friendly, engaging, and proactive. She listens, pays impeccable attention to detail, and has excellent communication skills. She is incredibly patient, always had our best interests in mind, and made sure we felt completely comfortable from the beginning to the end of our home search. As first-time homebuyers, this whole process was incredibly daunting. Anna provided us with multiple resources to guide us. As you can imagine, we had tons of questions. Anna took the time to answer each and everyone and explained everything to our satisfaction. Anna took us to many homes and refined her recommendations each weekend based on the feedback we gave. My husband and I recently bought our first home with the help of Anna and we cannot recommend her enough. Anna is professional, warm, responsive, incredibly detail-oriented, and prepared. We ended up putting an offer on a house we saw and began working very closely with her right from the start. She also made sure we understood each of the contingency periods and what our rights were while reiterating throughout the process that her ultimate goal was for us to find a home that we loved. She even called many herself when we were quickly trying to have a fire pit issue resolved. She checked in with us on moving day, as well as a few days after to see if we needed anything. Anna was hands down the best realtor we’ve ever worked with. Our timeline changed dramatically during our search and we needed to find a house in about two weeks. She advised us in stressful situations (like competing with 25 offers on one house)! In the end, we found our perfect dream home and Anna was with us every step of the way. What we love about Anna is that she is in constant contact with us, always responds promptly, and is so personable! She’s also very knowledgeable about the Pasadena/Altadena area and gave us so many tips on neighborhoods, schools, local restaurants, and so much more!
